Wow so I started my 3rd blog, b/c the first blog was stupid and I forgot the password to my 2nd blog... but anyway..
lets see today was a good day, not very eventful. For devotionals I am going through Psalms, Exodus, and Mark (I was originally going through just Psalms and Exodus, but I thought I should probably throw in some NT for kicks). I thought two things were interesting about these passages:
1) In Psalm 32:1, it states, "Blessed is the one whose transgressions is forgiven, whose sin is covered". This probably a verse that I should memorize, because its a pretty handy verse, and its pretty powerful. I guess it just re-states how amazing God's grace is, and how blessed we are for having such a loving God.
2) In Mark 1, it says "And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed" (Mark 1: 35). Wow, Jesus was a really good Christian, or spiritual person. This kind of inspired me to do devotions earlier in the morning, and to pray early before the sun rises. I think that would be a good way to start a day...
Anyway, hopefully i can actually blog more than once a month, but we'll see
